Travel information

Most international visitors arrive at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam). First, you pass through Immigration. Before collecting your luggage, it is advisable to change your foreign currency into Euros at one of the banks (grenswisselkantoren). These can be used to exchange your currency. The banks at Schiphol Airport are open every day, even on Sundays.

After collecting your luggage and (if applicable) exchanging money, pass through Customs, enter Arrivals and follow the signs from Schiphol Arrival Hall to the Railway Station: "to the trains". At the train station you can purchase a ticket to Ede-Wageningen from one of the yellow vending machines, or at the Sevice Desk.
Schiphol Airport to Ede-Wageningen
Trains depart from Schiphol Airport to Ede-Wageningen via Utrecht almost every 15 minutes. Take an intercity train from Schiphol to Utrecht. Once you are in Utrecht, switch to a train in the in the direction of Arnhem or Nijmegen. Your final stop is Ede-Wageningen. Travel time from Schiphol to Ede-Wageningen is approximately 60 to 75 minutes.

At Ede-Wageningen station you can either take the bus or a taxi. Please note that taxis are expensive. A taxi from Ede-Wageningen railway station to Wageningen costs approximately € 30.00. Take bus no 88 to “Wageningen bus station”, which departs every 15 mins. To get to the Hof van Wageningen hotel, please stop at the “Wageningen bus station” terminal. Hof van Wageningen is approximately 250 meters to the west of the bus terminal. You can ask the bus driver to inform you when you arrive there. Tickets can be bought on the bus. You can also use an OV-Chipcard to pay for your trip.

To get to the WUR Forum building at Wageningen Campus either takes a 30 min walk, or you can take the bus at the bus terminal. For travel information at the first morning of the symposium, follow this link.
